Ingredients:
(serves 2 (Pair with half bottle of Silverado Sauvignon Blanc or double the recipe and pair with a full bottle!))
- 16 oz bag of Brussels Sprouts (halved)
- 12 oz bag of fresh or dried cranberries
- 4 slices of bacon, diced
- a few shots of Bourbon
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- salt & pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400 F.
In a baking dish, add the Brussels sprouts and coat in olive oil and salt and pepper. Roast at 400 F for 20 minutes.
While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, dice the bacon and sauté it in a frying pan until crispy. Add Bourbon slowly and stir until lightly glazed. Drain the bacon bits on a paper towel and set them aside. Do not discard Bourbon bacon drippings!
Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven after approximately 25-30 minutes. Add the cranberries and bacon bits, and pour the bourbon bacon drippings over the Brussels sprouts. Stir, and return to the oven for 5-10 minutes until the Brussels sprouts reach the desired texture.
Serve with Silverado Miller Ranch Sauvignon Blanc!
