Taste of Silverado Thanksgiving Six-Bottle Set
  • Tasting Notes 2019 Firetree Chardonnay: Aromas of perfumed white florals, white peach, and green apple carry over to the palate with the addition of juicy white nectarine, tangerine, and fresh ginger. Balanced and round with great energy and minerality, a hint of salinity, and a long citrusy finish.

2020 Borreo Sangiovese Rosa: Light aromas of raspberry, white nectarine, rose water, and mineral notes. Medium-bodied with juicy peach and tart white cherry. Lively acidity, with great energy and minerality and a long black raspberry finish.

2018 Mt. George Malbec: Intensely dark and inky with pronounced aromas of crushed raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry. Flavors of blackberry streusel and dried herbs such as fennel and bay leaf. This full-bodied wine has structured acidity, round tannins, and a long finish.

2018 Mt. George Cabernet Franc: Aromas and flavors of candied cherry, ripe raspberry, and strawberry with an herbaceous twist. Accents of crushed violets, slate, cocoa, and anise. Tannins are well integrated, resulting in a well-balanced wine.

2018 Borreo Zinfandel: Spicy cola nut, black pepper, and briary patch aromas. Medium-bodied with a broad mid-palate filled with fresh fig, ripe black, and boysenberry fruit, and nuances of both cinnamon stick and savory spices. Well-balanced with bright acidity which helps carry the ripe fruit flavors through to a moderately long finish with vanilla and spicy flavors that linger.

2018 Oakville Station Cabernet Sauvignon: Full-bodied with a mix of sweet black fruits – black raspberry, black cherry, and blackberry. Vanilla pastry, black pepper, and a hint of dark chocolate meld with earthy, herbal notes. Rich and complex with dense, plush tannin.
